Town of West Sweden- Monthly Meeting

June 20, 2017

Meeting was called to order by Scott Wilder at 7:05 pm. Members present Scott Wilder and Glenn Meier; supervisors; Phyllis Wilder, clerk; Brenda Tesch, treasurer, and Kevin Taylor, patrolman. Simon Nelson, chairman was absent.

The minutes to the May meeting were presented by the clerk. The board thanked the clerk for the report.

The financial statement for May was presented by the treasurer. The board thanked her for the report.

Public input: None

Employee report: Bob Carlson contacted Kevin asking about providing a culvert for new house going in on 140^th Street, culvert has been delivered. Mowing is 90 per cent done. Glenn was asked about a horse carriage sign for 150^th Street. Glenn mentioned that the chip sealing on 310^th Avenue is very tacky, we should contact Scott’s to check into it.

Unfinished Business:

A. Update on Salt/Sand Shed: Nothing new to report.

B. Road Repair List: Tabled until July.

New Business:

A. Approve Liquor licenses: Glenn Meier made the motion to approve liquor licenses for the Ridge Eatery and Skol Haus, Inc. Scott W 2^nd, motion carried.

Correspondence: 2017 Blade order form from Polk County; Bridge Aid petitions due by August 1, 2017

Motion made by Scott W, seconded by Glenn M, to approve the payment of bills check# 16812 thru 16827 and payroll and ACH payments totaling $16,168.82.

Next meeting will be July 18, 2017
