Town of West Sweden-Monthly Meeting

October 20, 2009

Meeting called to order at 6:30pm. Present at the meeting were Dennis O’Donnell- Chairman, Scott Wilder and Glenn Meier-Supervisors, Kevin Taylor- Patrolman, Phyllis Wilder–Treasurer and Andrea Lundquist-Clerk. Residents and onlookers included William Johnson, and Mike Henderson.

The meeting was called to order by Dennis.

The minutes of the last meeting were read by the Andrea.

Minutes were received by town board.

The treasurer’s monthly report was presented by Phyllis.

Treasurer’s report was received by town board.

Public Input- None.

Old Business – None.

Patrolman/Hwy. Building/Hwy. Report – Quotes were received from Hopkins and Lindh for salt/sand and washed sand. A motion was made by Glenn to accept the Hopkins bid for washed sand at $7.10/cu yard delivered, and seconded by Dennis. Motion approved.

A request was made for a hidden driveway/blind intersection sign to be put by driveways on 345^th Avenue. Subject will be tabled until November meeting after driveways have been viewed.

Correspondence- Bid for Ed O’Meara for assessing reviewed. Subject tabled until November meeting.

New Business- Budget reviewed. Clerk will work up numbers for final budget.

Phyllis will ask Ed O’Meara about being a dog lister.

Discussion regarding adding “No Trespassing” signage to the Clam Falls/West Sweden dump and placing fence along the front closed. The fence will be closed off for safety reasons.

All bills paid and approved.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 6:30pm.

Motion to adjourn the meeting made by Scott. Seconded by Glenn.

Carried.
